Directions to clinic
The clinic is located in the Elham Valley, about a mile south
of Barham on the B2065 and seven miles south of Canterbury. The entrance to Barham Business Park is on the eastern side of Elham Valley Road,
almost directly opposite the Elham Valley Vineyard. The clinic is the first building on the right through the entrance gate. By car, given reasonable traffic
conditions, it can be reached within an hour from most places in Kent.
From London, Essex, north west Kent and north Kent
Clients travelling from London, Essex, North and North west Kent (including the Medway towns) should use the A2 and M2. At the end of the M2 rejoin the A2 again and head towards Canterbury and Dover. After passing the first Canterbury turn off, ignore the next exit but take the second exit onto the B2065 (signposted Barham and Elham). Turn right at the bottom of the slip road, go under the dual carriageway and immediately turn left. This road drops down into the Elham Valley and goes past the village of Kingston. Continue through Barham towards Elham. Barham Business Park is approximately three-quarters of a mile along the road, on the left hand side.
From west Kent and the Maidstone area, also east Sussex and Surrey
If travelling from the Maidstone area and West Kent (also eastern parts of Sussex and Surrey), get onto the M20, leaving at Junction 7 and cross to join the M2 at Junction 5 via the A249 , then follow the directions above.
From South West Kent including Ashford and Romney Marsh
Use the M20 as far as Junction 11, then turn off onto the A20 towards Folkestone until the roundabout where the B2065 crosses and head north up towards Barham via Etchinghill, Lyminge and Elham. After Elham you come to the Dolls House restaurant and then, a few hundred yards further along, the Elham Valley Vineyards. Barham Business Park is right opposite.
From North East Kent including Whitstable, Herne Bay and the Isle of Thanet
Clients from North East Kent should try to avoid travelling through Canterbury as far as possible during busy periods. There are a number of alternative routes which are less congested; one such possibility is through Wingham, turning off and taking the road to the A2 past Adisham and Aylesham. At the roundabout adjacent to the A2, cross over the dual carriageway to the A260, turn right and 50 yards down the road turn left. A short distance down this road brings you to a small crossroads. Go straight over and follow the road through to join the B2065 at the top of Derringstone Hill. Part of this road is one way, though it is crossed by a couple of minor roads where traffic can come from either side. It meets the B2065 at a sharp angle - continue to the left. You will find the Business Park less than half a mile along the road.
From South East Kent including Dover and Deal
From East Kent (including Dover and Deal) there are several cross-country routes available but using the A2 is probably quicker, turning off halfway between Canterbury and Dover towards Barham Crematorium. At the end of the sliproad turn right at the junction with the A260 Folkestone-Canterbury road and take the second turning on the left. A short distance down this road brings you to a small crossroads. Go straight over and follow the road through to join the B2065 at the top of Derringstone Hill.
